Before you go: Brazil

E-visa needed before you fly

Entry rules for U.S. passport holders.

Passport
Valid for at least 1 month when you arrive

Do before you fly

  1. Get Brazil's e-visa approved before you fly. Brazil brought the visa back for Americans in 2025.

From the U.S. State Department, checked October 2026. Rules change, sometimes quickly: confirm them on travel.state.gov (opens a new tab), which also shows the current safety advisory, before you book. Only use official government sites to apply for visas and travel authorizations; look-alike sites charge extra.
